  1. Hi guys: now you are truckin'. Isn't Manitoulin great? you are making me very nostalgic. My older sister Joan, used to go there to work in the summers. I worked up in Muskoka, where the "Big Summit" will be going on, near Huntsville, which is the "Hub town of the Muskokas, and lake country". Worked at Lake of Bays, Bigwin INN, and so many others. It is gorgeous, but I am sure you are going to find it terrible busy at this time of year. Glad you got through SAsk and Man before the flooding and the closing of the TCH. It is a mess. We are still having very unsettled weather, however we have not had rain for a couple of days now. Actually, almost 70 degrees this afternoon, and I am finally able to paint the planters on the deck.. Had my eyeball measured yesterday in VR, in prep for my surgery July 28. So, I'm ready.
Able to wear all those clothes that we shopped for in LHC 3 years ago Crys. It's like Christmas. Feels great!!!!!!!!
Bookie is really aging, not moving much, and time for the ramp we built Arfs, to get into the truck and boat. Hope he is not in too much pain. He has an abcessed canine, arthritis in his 2 shoulders where he had surgery as a baby, one rear leg almost immoveable, 2 lypomas now, one under the armpit, cloudy eyes, heart murmer, etc. Gawd, so awful! I wish I could talk to Karin and ask her a couple of questions. One of these days, maybe you could forward me her phone # so that I could call her. Books is now on "deramaxx", a painkiller, but I don't really think it is doing any good, or making any difference. Salsi is carrying on as usual. Good days and bad days. And, so is Bob. I feel great!
So, enjoy, take lots of photos, be sure to see Quebec City and some of the Laurentians. Also, the Eastern Townships and Gaspe, which are a bit out of the way, but well worth it. Check out the locks on the St Lawrence, near Brockville, and the Trent-Severin (sp) canal. Awesome. I am envying you, but not the weather. Take care and call me on Skype sometime. All our love and hugs, the 4 Lennies....
