Day 10

So everyone, what can we say, didn't know how hard it would be to get an internet connection, even with the iPhone! Here we are in Radway at Uncle Doug and Auntie Lin's house. We of course are banished to the 5th as Harley and Tankie don't really like cats! Oh well our trip so far! We spent 5 days in Kelowna. Mom and Dad got to visit with everyone, Caden, Jenny, Steven etc. Dad helped Trevor put up a fence, Mom helped Jenny do a picture wall in their house. Then on Wednesday 2:30 pm we were on our way. Spent the first night at Yard Creek Park, just out of Sicamous, nice spot, I (Skipper) got to go for a walk in the bush. I think that was because I caught a mouse in the night, my Mom was so pleased, especially when I brought it to her and she didn't even have to get out of bed! Then on to Lake Louise - my gosh it was almost frozen over! Spent the night at Mosquito Creek, got up to snow!! So out of there, stopped at Columbia Ice Fields cool (you bet). Also stopped at Athabasca Falls, too bad it was so foggy couldn't really see the mountains, but still was beautiful! Saw some wildlife (see pics). Next night at a rough RV park between Hinton and Edson. Then on the 29th arrived here in Radway, snowed all day, unbelievable! Heather came with the kids for dinner and a visit. Tomorrow we won't be going to Auntie Heather's for dinner with everyone else - Fergus and Winston - we just don't know about DOGS! We'll sit in the window and watch the poor frozen little birdies! The Night Before

Well here we are the night before we are scheduled to depart. Mom and Dad are stressed, we can tell. They are raising their voices and running back and forth, here and there. We of course are helping, doing the typing, filing etc. Tomorrow is the BIG day, Mom says we are leaving for sure even if it's late, Dad says "How am I going to get quotes to fix that roof?" oh well should be an interesting day.
